The Afflicted
Don't the Afflicted remind you of the Flood(Halo-Halo 2). I just was wondering if anyone thought the same thing...

Yes, that was my first thought upon seeing them. I kept watching for one to pull out a shotgun or a rocket launcher.

yeah, i saw them in one mission area and i was like. "omg the flood is here" i wanted to bring out my shotgun or the plasma blade to cut them down. But sadly, this is not Halo 2.

I thought of the flood as soon as I first saw the afflicted, I just hope I don't have to kill endless amounts of them in tedious, never ending, all look the same copy and paste levels while following an annoying camp flying robot.

I thought of the Mutants in Fallout. But then again never played Halo.

Lol, well you're right on one part its pretty much the same through and through, don't get me wrong the city looks great and all, but you'll notice you think you're going in circles, but yes, you'll find yourself killing well over a hundred of these "flood" in each missions |

halflife 2 as well
but mostly halo 2. it's kind of strange actually even the purple misty stuff. like the misty stuff from halo 2. ahah i must say tho, the afflicted are pretty damn annoying. not as annoying as the mass groups of assassins once you get into the marketplace. although right now playing it i kind of i wish Master Chief would prance across the screen randomly, but ... alas ... that is impossible. |
